Ecology Role
This role is a key part of our Ecology practice, working closely with other associate directors and ecologists.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to use their knowledge, experience and influence to work collaboratively on large-scale, complex and nationally significant projects.
We are looking for someone who can communicate complex ecological concepts confidently and effectively internally and externally to a wide range of colleagues, stakeholders, clients and the public.
Main Responsibilities:
* Client facing interaction - The candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of client requirements and be able to get the support needed to fulfill those requirements and develop relationships.
* Leading on nationally important infrastructure projects, managing project programs and resources.
* Planning and undertaking field surveys; analyzing and interpreting survey results with a focus on bat ecology.
* Designing and coordinating ecological mitigation measures.
* Authoring and reviewing ecological reports and license applications.
* Leadership - The candidate will have a leadership role in managing projects, building client relationships and workloads.
* Interdisciplinary engagement - The candidate will seek to engage with other areas of the business, seeking opportunities to cross-sell and leverage capabilities.
* Candidate will proactively provide innovation on projects and within the ecology team. Candidate will coach, mentor and support other staff members in their development.
