We are seeking a highly experienced Purchasing Manager/Insight Manager to join our client's team in County Limerick.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse and optimise the supply chain to ensure efficient operations.
* Develop and implement effective material planning strategies.
* Purchase and manage materials, subcontractors, and services from suppliers.
* Administer all relevant processes, including purchase orders, subcontract operations, sales orders, receipting, invoicing, stock adjustments, and more.
* Liaise with suppliers, visiting facilities as necessary, to maintain strong relationships and drive business growth.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve common goals.
* Resolve complaints efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in purchasing roles is required.
* A recognised qualification in a related field is essential.
* A full clean driving licence is mandatory.
* Experience in engineering or manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated negotiation, IT, analytical, and organisational skills are essential.
* Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas and complex financial spreadsheets.
* Experience with material planning and contract management using an ERP system is advantageous.
