The role of a Field Service Engineer is crucial in ensuring the optimal performance of machine control systems across various heavy equipment brands and models. Reporting directly to the Installations Team Leader, this individual will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support through on-site installations, measurements, diagnosis, troubleshooting, service, and repair of machine control systems.

Key responsibilities include:
* Installation – Primary resource for on-machine installation, calibration, and service support across all OEMs, dealers, and customers.
* Service – Primary resource for maintenance, trouble-shooting, and support on machine control systems across all OEMs, dealers, and customers.
* Measure & Calibration / Advisory / Consultation – Resource for calibration and re-calibration of machine control equipment as part of installation, rental, or support services.
Required skills and qualifications include:
* College or vocational qualification in Mechanical, Hydraulics, or Electronic engineering.
* Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical issues on heavy equipment machines.
* Familiarity with construction site operations using machine control systems.
* Experience in Arc welding (useful but not essential).

This role would suit an electrically biased plant fitter or a controls engineer familiar with the plant industry. On job training will be provided for a successful candidate.
