The role of Chief Procurement Officer will play a crucial part in the procurement process, contributing to the success of our dynamic team. Key responsibilities include:
• Sourcing and purchasing: Assist in sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure a seamless process.
• Inventory management: Take charge of the reorder process for inventory stock.
• Purchase orders: Prepare and manage purchase orders with accuracy and timeliness.
• Supplier negotiation: Support negotiations with suppliers to secure the best value for cost, quality, and delivery terms.
• Supplier performance monitoring: Keep an eye on supplier performance and help with supplier reviews.
• Internal collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (sales, service, warehouse) to align purchasing needs with business requirements.
Key qualifications include:
* 2–3 years' experience in procurement or supply chain management.
* Qualification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, IIPMM) or currently studying towards one is preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
A background in the hospitality industry is desirable, as is a bubbly, confident, and outgoing personality that wants to excel in their career. Competencies include being a self-starter with the ability to work independently and a team player with a positive attitude.
