We are looking for a friendly, approachable and experienced HVAC Technician to join the growing Occu Services team.
What will the role involve?
Annual servicing and maintenance of Ventilation and Heat Pump Units.
Ensuring timely and efficient response times for all scheduled works.
Adhere to industry legislation, particularly Health and Safety regulations.
Adhere to manufacturer guidelines for servicing (where applicable).
Minor general maintenance of vacant properties prior to move ins.
Update records using verbal, written, and electronic communication methods.
Ability and willingness to take responsibility for and to support junior engineers.
Candidate Requirements:
Candidates must have extensive knowledge of all aspects of HVAC systems.
Demonstrated experience in commercial and residential maintenance.
General Maintenance Experience (not required but an advantage).
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Willingness to work flexibly and support colleagues within the Service team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work well both independently and as part of a team.
Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliances.
Clean, tidy and presentable appearance.
Professional, reliable, honest, trustworthy, hardworking.
Due to the nature of the role, An Garda Siochana vetting may be required.
Hold a Full Clean Driving Licence.
Licence/Certification:
QQI Level 5 or Level 6 Trade Certificates in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning.
NZEB – Domestic Heat Pump Installation/ Ventilation Programme.
F-Gas Handling Certification (not required but an advantage).
Full Clean Driving Licence (required).
Safepass Card (required).
Role will include a work vehicle and use of company tools and equipment.
Work Location: On the road – Greater Dublin Area.
