Reporting to the Head of Employee Communications, this role involves collaborating with a dynamic Communications team, leading impactful projects, and seeing the tangible results of their efforts. By supporting a culture of open and transparent communication, the Employee Communications Content Lead ensures that our employees feel valued, informed, and connected to the company's vision and goals.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation:
Lead, manage, produce, and deliver high-quality video content for employee communications, including CEO business updates, How-to Guides video tutorials, and updates on new employee products/system launches.
Develop and deliver engaging content for internal channels such as intranet, newsletters, emails, and social media.
Craft compelling stories that highlight our people, employee achievements, company milestones, and key initiatives and help our people to tell the daa story.
Write clear and concise messages to ensure alignment and understanding across our business.
Oversee employee communications across all business units and partner with HR and other departments to design and produce communications materials, aligning messaging and supporting company-wide initiatives.
Design and roll out materials and campaign assets (posters, pull-ups, backdrops, videos, infographics) for employee programs and campaigns, and roll out of all new employee-focused systems.
Manage the content creation process for stakeholder newsletters, engaging with third-party suppliers to print and distribute the newsletter to target audiences when required.
Communication Strategy:
Collaborate with the Head of Employee Communications to develop and execute an exciting and effective annual employee communications plan.
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of employee communications, making recommendations for improvement based on feedback and data analysis.
Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure that communications are timely and relevant.
Employee Engagement:
Organise and support events that promote employee engagement and recognition.
Represent employee communications on committees such as Charities of the Year and Hearts & Minds, ensuring that the employee perspective is always considered, and messaging is clear and engaging.
Foster a culture of open and transparent communication by creating channels for employee feedback and dialogue.
Brand Ambassador:
Act as a guardian of our company's brand voice and tone, ensuring consistency across all communications, including regular Health & Wellbeing publications and safety campaigns.
Train and support other teams in effective communication approaches and practices.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to keep communication styles and approaches fresh and relevant.
