Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will take ownership of complex machine designs from concept through to completion Top 3 Things to Know About this Job: Rapidly expanding company with excellent growth and progression routes Global projects with industry-leading automation solutions High-impact role with ownership from concept to delivery The Role: Lead the mechanical design of packaging systems Create 3D CAD models, detailed manufacturing drawings, and BOMs using SolidWorks Oversee projects from concept through to completion Perform risk assessments, tolerance analysis, and host design reviews Collaborate with Electrical, Controls, and Project Management teams to deliver complete solutions Liaise with suppliers and manufacturing teams to optimise cost and build efficiency Contribute to project documentation including machine manuals and client deliverables The Person: * Degree (Bachelor's/Master's) in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline * 8+ years' design experience, with at least 5 years in automation or special-purpose machinery * Expert user of SolidWorks and familiar with PDM systems * Strong understanding of pneumatics, servo systems, cams, and mechanical drives Next Steps: For further information, and to apply for this role, please contact Zoey Rooney.
