As an ERBP, you will work alongside Human Resource Business Partners (HRBP), Heads of HR, and senior managers to create inclusive employee relations strategies that align with business objectives and the broader HR Strategy.Is this your next job Read the full description below to find out, and do not hesitate to make an application.You will provide specialist advice and guidance to colleagues on topics related to both Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR), ensuring compliance with legal standards and best practices in these areas.Collaborate with trade unions, HRBPs, senior management, and other internal and external stakeholders to facilitate positive change, promote best practices, and champion fair and consistent treatment by incorporating employee perspectives during organisational changes and policy reviews.Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion when managing sensitive information, demonstrating sound judgement and ethical decision-making in all ER/IR matters, and ensuring outcomes align with both organisational objectives and legal requirements.Advise and provide expert guidance on the interpretation and application of relevant legislation, collective agreements, company policies, employment law, workplace behaviour, and conflict resolution, participating in negotiations as needed.Lead or support collective bargaining processes, including pay and benefits negotiations, and represent the organisation before external bodies (WRC and Labour Court).Assess business areas for necessary changes related to ER and IR, support change management processes, and proactively analyse ER/IR trends and metrics to identify people risks, recommend improvements, and implement preventative measures.Manage and resolve complex employee relations cases or disputes, ensuring outcomes reflect organisational objectives, legal requirements, and ethical standards.Support organisational projects and cross-functional initiatives by offering specialist IR and ER expertise, contributing to a constructive, inclusive work environment.Establish and maintain effective relationships as a trusted advisor to business leaders and HR colleagues, fostering informed decision-making and promoting a collaborative work environment.Experience A minimum of three years' experience in Human Resources or People Management is required.Experience handling Employee Relations and/or Industrial Relations matters within a unionised environment, representing either the company or employees, is considered an advantage.Demonstrated experience managing third-party cases will be regarded as a distinct advantage.Skills Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to resolve complex employee and industrial relations matters.Effective relationship management, building constructive partnerships with employees, managers, and union representatives.Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proven self-starter, able to work independently but also as part of a team, and to use initiative to proactively solve problems in challenging situations Capacity to understand and interpret organisational trends and developments, as well as broader industrial relations and legal landscapes, to ensure best practice is applied within daa.Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice, with the ability to quickly learn and apply policies, agreements, or procedures that may be new to them.Education & Qualifications A third level degree is required for this role.A qualification in HR or business is an advantage, and a degree or professional qualification in law is a distinct advantage.daa is an equal opportunities employer committed to celebrating diversity & inclusion and recognising the value that difference can bring, both for our business and for our people.We encourage applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experience.
