English Teacher (ESL)
Salary: €17.00 per hour (Paid Weekly)
Hours: 8 to 20 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, must be available to teach evenings

Role Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and qualified ESL teacher to be part of our growing English department. The primary focus will be teaching English as a Second Language to adult learners at our Academy in Newbridge, Co. Kildare.
Class Schedule:
Evenings: 19:00 – 21:00 (Monday to Thursday)
Additional hours: Morning and daytime classes may also be available, upon demand.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and effective ESL lessons tailored to student levels.
Prepare lesson plans and materials in line with curriculum standards.
Support students in achieving their language learning goals.
Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment.
Maintain accurate attendance and progress records.
Work closely with the Academy and Managing Directors on curriculum and academy development.
Candidate Requirements
Fluent English speaker.
CELTA, or equivalent ESL teaching qualification.
Strong communication and time-management skills.
Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanour.
Confident, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Competent with standard computer software (MS Office, Google Workspace, etc.).
A passion for education and a commitment to student and Academy success.
Desirable Qualities
Experience in an ESL teaching role.
Interest in developing a long-term career with opportunities to take on additional responsibilities as the business grows.
Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and academic mindset.
Additional Information
This position includes a 3-month probationary period.
The successful candidate must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and Non-Compete Agreement as part of the hiring process.
There is also the potential to transition into a full-time position by combining teaching with administrative, sales and or marketing duties.
