Job Description:
We're seeking a skilled professional to provide motivational support, careers advice, and guidance to our clients. You'll help them feel welcome and at ease, enabling them to overcome barriers and build confidence.
You'll work with clients to assess their skills and abilities, discuss their ambitions and career goals, and explore learning and work opportunities. As an intermediary, you'll engage with local employers to act on behalf of your clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a caseload of clients, reviewing their progress towards employment and maintaining engagement to achieve personal and team targets.
* Assess individual client needs and work with them to create a personal progression plan.
* Meet with clients regularly to review their progress.
* Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Leaving Certificate standard (as a minimum). A level 7 qualification or working towards is desirable but not a prerequisite.
* Minimum of two years' experience in an employment activation, recruitment, training, career coaching, or counselling role, preferably with long-term unemployed clients farthest from the labour market.
* Excellent influential and persuasion skills to constructively confront client barriers.
* Operational experience working in a client-facing environment delivering a professional 'people' service end to end.
