Overview
We are looking for a Senior Support Engineer to join our Ireland team at One Identity. The role involves providing enterprise‑wide support for our Identity Manager and Data Governance solutions, working collaboratively with a global support team and ensuring high quality, reliable service for our customers.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support to customers on the Identity Manager solution.
Use strong customer service and communication skills to interface with development and product teams.
Collaborate across regional boundaries with Country and Product Managers to maintain product quality and stability.
Resolve complex issues on the Windows platform.
Manage cases and any ongoing escalations.
Invest in the Knowledge‑Centred Methodology (KCS) and contribute to the support portal.
Participate in activities related to product improvement and demand reduction.
Deliver a high‑quality service experience to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Prior technical support experience at an enterprise level, including development or system administration and technical writing skills.
Required Technologies
2+ years managing and troubleshooting Active Directory (user/group administration, ADSI Edit, replication, permissions, group policies).
2+ years with enterprise network configuration, DNS and troubleshooting.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and scripting.
Experience with VB.NET or another object‑oriented, event‑driven programming language.
Awareness of the change control process.
Desirable Technologies
Object‑oriented programming knowledge.
Familiarity with debugging tools such as WebEx or GoToMeeting.
Knowledge of T‑SQL or PL/SQL scripting.
Knowledge of database design (entity‑relationship model, normalization).
Experience with LDAP, schema, and Kerberos.
Experience with Internet Information Services on Windows.
Prior exposure to Kubernetes.

Operating Systems: Windows Server.
Databases: Microsoft SQL Server.
Target Systems: Active Directory, Exchange, LDAP, SAP, SharePoint.
Networking: DNS, HTTP, SMTP.
Web: IIS, ASP.NET, Angular.
Virtualization: Azure, Docker.
Languages: C# .NET, PowerShell, VB.NET.
Cloud: Cloud access provisioning, identity federation, SAML.
Education
Undergraduate degree preferred or relevant experience in IT.
