The role is pivotal in our Technical Department, focusing on promoting sustainable energy practices across Ireland. We seek an individual with expertise in data analysis and engineering to work closely with stakeholders including BER assessors and operations teams to enhance the delivery of Building Energy Ratings (BERs).

Responsibilities:

* Develop innovative strategies to streamline and improve the quality and efficiency of the BER framework through extensive data processing.
">
* Collaborate with the Software and Systems Development Team on integrating calculation methodologies into software platforms.
">
* Coordinate with stakeholders to improve BER delivery and develop strong business relationships with internal and external partners.
">
* Contribute to research and analysis projects to inform the design and delivery of Minimum Energy Performance standards (MEPs) in the EPBD recast.
">

Requirements:
">

* A degree in a relevant technical or operational discipline such as architecture, mechanical or civil engineering, building services, data analytics, or data science/engineering.
">
* Minimum four years directly relevant experience working in building performance assessment or modelling, sustainability/energy consultancy, or data analytics/data engineering.
">
* Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R for data processing and certification in Microsoft Azure or Power BI.
">
* Experience managing projects involving diverse internal and external stakeholders.
