Key Responsibilities:
The Process Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities. This includes performing tool changes efficiently and effectively to meet production schedules.
Essential Duties:
This position involves monitoring and adjusting machine parameters to guarantee optimal performance and product quality. Additionally, the Process Technician is responsible for testing batch quality to verify that products meet our stringent standards.
Reporting Equipment Malfunctions:
They must promptly notify the maintenance team of any equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Applicants must possess a strong technical aptitude, particularly in processing characteristics and parameters for various polymer materials. A minimum of 5 O6 grades in their Leaving Cert and completion of a Polymer Technology Apprenticeship qualification or equivalent are also mandatory.
At least two years' experience in injection moulding polymer tooling is highly desirable.
