About the Role
We are looking for a driven and experienced Account Manager with a background in the sustainable energy sector. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on building long-term client relationships, developing commercial strategies, and helping customers navigate their transition to a cleaner energy future.
You’ll work at the intersection of business development and technical solutions, serving as a trusted partner to key accounts while collaborating with internal teams to drive growth.
What You’ll Do

Identify key business drivers within customer operations and translate them into commercial opportunities.
Lead the development and execution of account plans, including executive relationship strategy, opportunity prioritization, and revenue targets across business units.
Participate in and shape sales strategies informed by customers’ current and future business goals.
Manage relationships with EPCs and leverage a solid understanding of market channels to develop and strengthen account partnerships.
Build and maintain deep knowledge of customer strategy, purchasing behavior, decision-making structures, competitive landscape, and market trends.
Develop and manage a clear pipeline of opportunities and maintain accurate forecast reporting.
Drive service sales by ensuring the full portfolio is effectively presented to customers.
Contribute to major contract negotiations to secure sales volumes.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in sales and account management within the sustainable energy industry or a closely related sector.
Previous experience working at / with large utilities (ESB / Eir Grid)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a STEM discipline.
Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex customer relationships.
Strong track record of growing account value and developing long-term commercial partnerships.
Experience leading or delivering complex, solution-based sales opportunities.
Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Strong communicator — comfortable presenting, listening, and building rapport at all levels.
