This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Civil Engineer to lead a two-year project in Donegal, Ireland. As a Civil Engineering Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and industry standards.
Job Description:
* Project Management: You will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the project, including design review, method statements, inspection and test plans, risk assessments, and quality control.
* Tech Development: You will be responsible for the technical development of staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete their tasks effectively.
* Design Review: You will conduct thorough design reviews to ensure that all submissions comply with contract requirements and industry standards.
* Estimating: You will prepare estimates and participate in tender reviews as required, working closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure accurate pricing and delivery of projects.
* Contract Management: You will manage and price contract variations, communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree: A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field is required.
* Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience in supervising, coordinating, and managing earthworks activities is essential.
* Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with specifications for highway works and contract document preparation is highly desirable.
