About the Role
The Mechanical Construction Manager will be responsible for managing client communications and coordinating with the project team to ensure scheduled installation of pipework.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and ensuring all HVAC deliverables meet project and safety standards.
* Overseeing project handover from estimating and managing technical procurement of equipment, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Documentation of cost scope changes and support in preparation of monthly valuations and final accounts.
* Maintenance and management of labour resources and project schedules with a two-week look-ahead plan.
* Ensuring compliance and safety standards are met, including subcontractor safety, continuous improvement of work practices, and maintaining high housekeeping standards.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, the candidate should have:
* A degree in Building Services Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or relevant Mechanical trade background.
* 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
* Must have worked with an M&E Contractor in Ireland or the UK.
* Proven track record of leading teams on large projects with tight deadlines.
* Experience working on Data Centre projects is advantageous.
* Proficient in MS Office.
