We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment on a contract basis in County Waterford, Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to drive complex, cross‑functional projects within a highly regulated setting.
About the Role
As Project Manager, you will lead multi-disciplinary teams across multiple sites to successfully deliver projects from initiation through to execution and integration. You will play a key role in aligning stakeholder expectations, managing risk, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
Lead cross‑functional, multi‑site project teams to deliver key initiatives
Define and translate business and customer requirements into clear project scope
Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
Coordinate resource planning with functional managers
Drive execution of project activities in line with agreed scope, schedule, and cost
Facilitate regular project meetings and ensure effective stakeholder engagement
Establish and maintain strong communication plans across all stakeholders and sites
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimise business impact
Manage cost estimation, budget tracking, and forecasting processes
Support and oversee project‑related GMP documentation in line with site procedures
About You
Proven experience in a project leadership role within the biopharma industry
Degree in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
Demonstrated experience managing projects within drug substance or drug product environments
Project Management certification (e.g. PMI/PMP) preferred
Strong working knowledge of cGMP, GLP, and regulated manufacturing environments
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills
