We are currently seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join a busy and fast-paced public sector team based in Swords.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual with a strong administrative background to contribute to an essential service environment.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be available to commence at short notice.
About the role Provide comprehensive day-to-day administrative support, including correspondence management, document preparation, typing (including audio/Dictaphone), filing, and general office duties Manage incoming communications such as phone calls, enquiries, and correspondence, ensuring all queries are logged, prioritised, and responded to in a timely manner Handle complaints and sensitive enquiries with professionalism, escalating where appropriate and keeping relevant stakeholders informed Assist in drafting and issuing letters, memos, and general communications to internal teams, external stakeholders, and the public Maintain, update, and manage internal databases and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times Support the wider team in delivering departmental objectives and services Work closely with colleagues across multiple functions to ensure effective service delivery Develop a strong understanding of the organisation's structure, services, and how your role contributes to overall objectives Build awareness of how different departments interact to deliver high-quality outcomes Use organisational knowledge and processes to support efficient and effective operations Act in line with organisational values, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and accountability Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information Ensure all interactions with service users and stakeholders are conducted with respect and care For more information call Ingrid on
