On behalf of highly-acquisitive, private equity backed firm in Dublin, we are looking to hire a Senior Financial Accountant.
This is a newly created role offering broad exposure across financial reporting, operational finance, and strategic projects. You’ll report directly to the Head of Finance and play a key part in strengthening financial controls, improving month‑end processes, and supporting the business through an exciting growth phase.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of monthly management accounts and assist with group consolidation.
Oversight of core accounting cycles – journals, reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
Deliver insightful variance analysis to inform strategic decisions.
Help implement scalable processes, policies, and systems for future growth.
Contribute to project work including system improvements and potential acquisitions.
Qualifications
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
Big 4/ Top 10 trained with 1–3 years’ PQE in a similar financial accounting role.
Strong technical grounding in Irish GAAP and financial reporting.
Commercially minded, detail‑oriented, and eager to work in a dynamic, growing organisation.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
