A fast-scaling fintech company is seeking a Tech Lead with deep Microsoft stack expertise to take ownership of a core product rebuild. This is a critical role in the business, offering the opportunity to shape technical direction, guide development best practices, and remain hands-on with architecture and high-level coding decisions.
The ideal candidate is someone with a strong foundation in .NET technologies, proven leadership capabilities, and a passion for building scalable, clean systems in a collaborative, agile environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the technical delivery of greenfield and brownfield projects across the Microsoft stack
2. Collaborate closely with architects, product managers, and developers to shape and execute the engineering roadmap
3. Stay hands-on with design, architecture, and coding (around 40-50% of the time)
4. Drive best practices in software development, testing, and DevOps
5. Mentor and support developers across multiple teams
6. Participate in hiring and contribute to shaping the engineering culture
Tech Stack:
7. .NET Core / .NET 6+
8. C#
9. Azure (Functions, App Services, DevOps)
10. SQL Server
11. RESTful APIs
12. Docker/Kubernetes (bonus)
13. React or Angular (nice to have)
Requirements:
14. 10+ years of software development experience, primarily using .NET/C#
15. Strong background in building scalable SaaS platforms or enterprise-grade systems
16. Proven experience in a tech lead or senior leadership role
17. Deep understanding of architectural patterns (. DDD, microservices, event-driven design)
18. Experience working in cloud-native environments (ideally Azure)
19. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
