What You Will Be Doing
As an IT Systems Administrator, you ensure our systems operate securely, efficiently, and reliably. You provide end‑user support, contribute to key technical projects, and help maintain DM’s Information Security Management System (ISMS). You also support ongoing ISO/IEC27001:2022 compliance, strengthening DM’s security posture and adherence to international standards.
Provide expert Tier 1–2 IT support across hardware, software and networks
Administer and manage Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune)
Maintain and secure DM Group Microsoft 365 environment using Defender for Endpoint and Purview compliance tools
Manage Windows Server 2022 systems and virtual environments via Hyper‑V
Configure and troubleshoot SonicWall firewalls and VPN connectivity
Perform routine patching and security updates across all infrastructure
Diagnose and resolve IT issues including hardware, peripherals (printers/scanners), and basic networking
Carry out cabling, equipment setups, and small infrastructure projects
Collaborate with internal teams and third‑party providers to resolve incidents and maintain service levels
Create and maintain clear technical documentation and incident reports
Adhere to all established information security policies, procedures, and controls within the ISMS
Implement and maintain technical measures that support confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organisational information assets
Support continuous monitoring activities, including vulnerability management, incident response, logging, and audit readiness
Ensure that system configurations, access controls, and administrative practices conform to ISO27001:2022 Annex A controls, including secure configuration, change management, and asset handling
Contribute to risk assessments and remediation activities by identifying potential security gaps and recommending improvements
Document system changes, incidents, and operational procedures in alignment with ISO27001 documentation and evidence requirements
Promote secure behaviours and awareness among users through collaboration, guidance, and adherence to best practices
What You Will Need
3+ years’ experience in a similar IT support or system admin role
Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange, Teams, and Intune
Experience with Microsoft Defender and Purview (or similar compliance/security tools)
Familiarity with Windows Server 2022, Hyper‑V, and Active Directory
Experience with SonicWall or similar firewall technologies
Proficiency in patch management and endpoint security practices
Solid troubleshooting ability across a wide range of hardware/software/network issues
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and work on your own initiative.
A relevant third‑level qualification in business computing, computer science, networking, or related field.
A legal right to work in Ireland
