We are seeking a senior supply chain professional to lead our purchasing and stock control initiatives. This role involves overseeing the procurement process, developing strategic sourcing plans, maintaining relationships with suppliers, and managing inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with management to ensure accurate and up-to-date supplier pricing information is maintained.
* Maintain detailed records of all suppliers.
* Process sales team stock orders efficiently and effectively.
* Analyze and manage shop stock levels based on demand and minimum requirements.
* Assist management with supplier inquiries and returns.
* Identify opportunities for new products to enhance our range.
* Coordinate supplier-led promotions and events.
* Partner with marketing teams on customer engagement campaigns.
* Meet with suppliers regularly to negotiate terms and develop strategies.
* Attend supplier meetings, trade shows, and training sessions as required.
* Review monthly reports on outstanding purchase orders.
* Develop and implement effective purchasing processes to improve efficiency.
Requirements:
* Preferred 2 years of experience in purchasing or a related field.
* Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
