Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Database Administrator located in Dublin, with some remote work flexibility. The Database Administrator will manage, monitor, and maintain database systems, ensuring their security, availability, and performance. Responsibilities include designing and implementing databases, troubleshooting database issues, setting up replication solutions, and optimizing systems to meet the company's operational requirements. Collaboration with team members to ensure effective data management and adherence to best practices will also be central to the role.
Qualifications
* Strong skills in Database Administration and Database Design
* Proficiency in working with Databases and implementing effective database systems
* Experience in Troubleshooting database-related issues
* Knowledge of Replication processes to ensure efficient data syncing
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
* Ability to work independently and communicate effectively within a team
* Familiarity with cloud database solutions is an advantage
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
