And we're still at itThe business has expanded and grown in recent times to encompass all things digital; social media platforms; events, sponsorships, TV and video productions; Podcasts, additional magazine titles, books, education – and lots more besides.As we begin activities celebrating Hot Press' 50th Anniversary we have some extremely exciting plans and developments.The design role will involve:AdvertisementCreating visual layouts, and design for the magazine's print issues, special editions, books and events, along with other senior designers.Helping to develop the magazine's visual brand identity across print, digital, social media, and promotional campaignsCollaborating with editorial, photography, and marketing teams to create cohesive, high-impact sponsored content designsKeeping up with design and social media trends to keep Hot Press readers and followers engaged and interested on all of our platformsDeveloping design concepts for advertising campaigns, branded content, Hot Press events, and commercial partnerships.Candidates for this role should ideally have:– Degree in Graphic Design/ Visual Communications or similar– Experience in working on print publications, digital and social media– Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)– Experience in video editing, animation/ motion graphics/ canva is advantageous– The ability to work quickly and pivot well in a fast-moving working environmentJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
