The Role
As a Paynt Hospitality Sales Consultant selling digital tipping solutions to Irish restaurants involves highlighting benefits like compliance with the new Allocation of Tips Act, reducing admin/costs, improving staff morale/retention, boosting overall tips, and offering customer convenience (cashless).
We are looking for individuals to focus on solving pain points with features like automated, fair tip distribution (tronc), real-time data, EPOS integration, and positioning it as essential for a modern, transparent operation to attract and keep staff.
Key Selling Points for Irish Restaurants
Compliance (The Big One): The Irish tipping law, governed by the 2022 Payment of Wages Amendment Act mandates fair, transparent tip distribution.
Cost & Admin Savings: Reduces payroll admin, avoids card processing fees on tips (if customer covers it), and saves time on managing cash/distributions.
Staff Benefits: Boosts staff income (fairer splits), provides instant feedback, increases morale, and helps attract/retain talent.
Customer Convenience: Cashless, tipping is easy for customers, especially as cash use declines.
Increased Tip Revenue: Transparency and ease often lead to more tips, with some users seeing significant increases.
