Key Responsibilities
Prepare work areas by protecting furniture, flooring, and driveways
Carefully lift and reinstate floor finishes where necessary
Set up and clean down sites, ensuring safe access and tools/materials are in place
Perform wall coring using dry or wet core drills for ventilation systems
Install natural, demand-controlled, mechanical, and roof ventilation systems
Fit ducting, fan units, and rigid box systems with care and accuracy
Assist with installation and testing of solar PV and heat pump systems (under supervision where required)
Carry out professional reinstatement of walls, floors, and general finishes
Complete snagging tasks to high standards
Leave all work areas clean and presentable with minimal disruption to clients
Follow all health and safety protocols including Safe Pass, PPE, and RAMS adherence
Attend toolbox talks and escalate any risks or hazards immediately
Use tools and equipment safely and comply with manual handling best practice
Represent Churchfield professionally in occupied homes
Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents and colleagues
Report delays, issues, or customer concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner
Skills and Requirements
Minimum 1–2 years' experience in general construction or retrofit roles
Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification (required)
Full clean B driver's licence (required)
Familiarity with SEAI Codes of Practice (desirable)
Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering clean, professional finishes
Prior plastering experience (patching/skimming) desirable, but not essential
Reliable, organised, and able to work independently or in a team
Good communication skills and fluency in English

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime as needed.
