Retail Store Operations Manager
The role requires an experienced professional to oversee the daily activities of a marine retail business, ensuring high standards in customer service, merchandising, stock management, and sales performance.
* Lead and manage day-to-day store operations to ensure a smooth customer experience
* Deliver exceptional customer service and foster strong client relationships
* Drive sales targets and maximise store profitability
* Manage inventory levels, ordering, and stock control
* Handle product displays and merchandising to optimise footfall and sales
* Maintain accurate sales and stock records using Excel and POS systems
* Train, supervise, and support junior staff as required
* Liaise with suppliers, manage deliveries, and stock checks
* Ensure the store is clean, well-presented, and compliant with health & safety regulations
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role
* Strong customer service and sales skills
* IT literate with excellent Excel skills (reporting, stock tracking, etc.)
* A keen interest or passion for marine products or boating is a strong advantage
