We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead the planning, development, and execution of renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, proven project management capabilities, and a passion for sustainable development.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the full project lifecycle of renewable energy developments (wind, solar, battery storage, etc.) from concept to commissioning.
* Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, environmental consultants, planners, and contractors.
* Oversee project planning, budgeting, risk management, scheduling, and reporting.
* Engage with clients, regulatory authorities, landowners, and other stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, and planning regulations.
* Prepare and review technical reports, planning applications, and procurement documents.
* Support business development, including proposal writing and client presentations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Environmental, or related discipline); PMP or equivalent certification is desirable.
* Minimum 5 years of project management experience, ideally within the renewable energy or infrastructure sector.
* Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale energy or infrastructure projects.
* Knowledge of Irish planning and regulatory frameworks for renewable energy.
* Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
* Familiarity with grid connection processes in Ireland.
* Experience working with public sector clients or EU-funded projects.
* Working knowledge of environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and permitting.
