Job Title: Finance Administrator
Locations: Irish Farm Centre, Bluebell, Dublin 12 (hybrid model of working)
Contract Type: Permanent
Reporting To: Finance Manager
Hours: 37.5 Hours per week

Macra na Feirme is a vibrant, independent, non-profit, national voluntary organisation for rural young people and young farmers between the ages of 17 and 35 engaged in youth development and training. The organisation consists of a nationwide network of clubs which support a range of activities in agriculture, sport, travel, public speaking and performing arts.
Macra na Feirme is committed to the personal development of members, placing emphasis on social interaction and participation. Macra na Feirme employs 22 staff and involves hundreds of volunteers on a weekly and monthly basis in the delivery of services to members through almost 140 clubs across the country.

About the Role
We are recruiting for an finance Administrator to work with our finance manager and also with our skillnet manager in the preparation of accounts. A hand over period is envisaged to ensure a smooth transition.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries
· Enter Supplier Invoices on Sage and check against Purchase (PO) list.
· Download Daily reports from Stripe & Global Payments and enter on Excel.
· Update bank lodgement/payments on Excel.
· Check bank mail re. any membership cancellations.
· File all invoices, statements and remittances.
· Process EFT payments in bank.
· Finance-related Membership queries.
Weekly
· Enter Macra Bank Statement weekly update on Sage.
· Enter Skillnet Stripe payments on Sonrai.
· Enter Stripe payments on Sage.
· Enter Global payments on Sage.
· Authorise New Beneficiaries in Bank.
· Update Sonrai as required
Monthly
· Supplier Payments process and upload to bank.
· Credit Card Summary entered in Excel then Sage.
· Customer Statements entered on Excel and email statements.
· Patrons Direct Debit processed and uploaded to bank
· Update Patron and Members DD monthly reports on Sage.
· Update breakdown of Patron and Members payments on Excel.
· Update Patrons cancelled on SEPA.
· Lodge cheques received in bank.
· Update all Bank Lodgements/Payments on Sage.
· Update Land Mobility bank payments/lodgements on Sage.
Annually
· Update Competition Fees Amount.
· Club levy email requests.
The above list is not exclusive, additional administrative duties will also be expected from the person selected.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will:
· Be Proficient in the use of accounting software, specifically SAGE
· Experience of online payment platforms, such as Stripe
· Be a team player able to work with staff and volunteers alike
· Experience of working in the Not for Profit sector an advantage
· Have strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines.
· Experience of Sonrai would be a distinct advantage
· Experience of CRM systems, especially Salesforce Lightening would be an advantage.
Essential Qualifications
· An accounting qualification
· At least three years of financial administration experience
· An excellent team worker with a strong sense of autonomy and the ability to work on own initiative.
Terms and Conditions of Employment
Location: Irish Farm Centre, Bluebell, Dublin 12(hybrid model of working).
Salary: Subject to experience (€28k to €38k).
Contract: Permanent subject to satisfactory completion of probationary period
Annual Leave: 25 working days exclusive of public holidays (pro-rata).
Travel & Subsistence: Travel & subsistence will be paid at public sector rates.
