Your new role includes:
* Developing, implementing and managing BRC and QMS
* Ensuring compliance by continuously measuring quality processes and systems and ensuring readiness for external audits
* Managing and coordinating testing required within the analytical laboratory
* Measuring quality KPIs to measure and identify quality performance trends
* Working with the production manager on production schedules and clean down schedules
* Proactively identifying and closing out corrective actions to deal with quality issues
Experience you need:
* Food Science Degree or equivalent in a related discipline
* 3+ years of experience in a food manufacturing environment is compulsory
* Excellent working knowledge of quality systems, accreditations and analytical lab equipment, operation and validation
* Strong knowledge of food quality and environmental standards
* Experience in developing and implementing quality systems and procedures
