Position Summary
The successful candidate will support strategic and operational decision-making by providing insightful financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. This role partners closely with business unit leaders to evaluate performance, identify trends, and drive profitability and efficiency improvements.
The role requires the incumbent to identify, investigate, understand and articulate trends. The successful candidate will need to present data in a form that can quickly and efficiently aid analysis and decision-making. In doing so, the ideal candidate will work using own initiative to enhance existing and develop new reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with variance analysis and commentary.
Assist with oversight on AOP for the region, aligning with global targets and monitoring variances throughout the year.
Provide clear, accurate, and in-depth analysis of the financial performance of the business unit, including revenue, costs, margins, and profitability. Partner with commercial teams on expense reviews.
Coordinate the forecasting and budgeting process for the business unit.
Partner with BU cross-functional teams to understand business drivers to support and inform decision making on an ongoing basis.
Identify risks and opportunities and recommend actions to improve financial outcomes.
Support pricing, cost analysis, and investment appraisals for new initiatives or projects.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards and corporate policies.
Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to aid business planning and decision‑making.
Education / Experience Requirements
3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a business unit or commercial environment.
Relevant Third Level Degree & Qualified CIMA, ACCA, CPA, Chartered Accountant.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English is required.
