Key Responsibilities
Lead or actively participate in the project activities determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths; and managing customer relationships.
Perform impact analysis, technical assessment and application development for the change requested approved by client.
Provide application support and maintenance while performing operational duties.
Work with onsite and offshore teams on technical solutions and solution implementations. Review technical specifications and perform technical analysis and design of the requirements for the solutions.
Ensure that all requirements are captured and work with clients for User Acceptance Tests signoff.
Platform Architecture & Administration
Plan, implement, and maintain SharePoint Server 2019 farms (including MinRole), Windows/IIS, and SQL Server backends in multi-tier, HA environments.
Configure and manage service applications: Search (topology, crawl tuning), User Profile (AD Import/Sync), Managed Metadata, App Management, and Distributed Cache.
Administer Web Applications, Site Collections, Content Databases, content database attach operations, and capacity planning (DB sizing).
Oversee patching (CUs/SUs), upgrade steps, and post patch validation; manage farm solutions, apps, and features lifecycle.
Implement governance: taxonomy, content types, retention, site provisioning standards, and controlled features.
Identity, Security & ADFS (Claims)
Design and configure ADFS trusts for SharePoint 2019 (SPTrustedIdentityTokenIssuer).
Integrate with AD/Entra ID/SAML claims providers and audience restrictions.
Configure SSL/TLS, People Picker with claims, zone/auth providers, and hardened IIS bindings.
Development & Automation
Build and maintain custom solutions and scripts:
PowerShell automation (farm admin, provisioning, reporting, health checks).
CSOM/REST for provisioning, governance, and content operations.
SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and/or classic solutions where needed (client‑side focus preferred).
Create governance tooling (e.g., inventory, orphan detection, permission reviews, storage/quota reports).
Migration to SharePoint Subscription Edition (SPSE)
Lead discovery & assessment: inventory customizations, solutions, workflows (2010/2013), InfoPath, BCS, timers, and deprecated features.
Define migration strategy: database attach, lift‑and‑shift, or content re‑architecture; plan Search topology, UPS re‑provisioning, and service app upgrades.
Execute migration with tools (e.g., ShareGate, Quest/Metalogix) and native methods; handle incremental deltas and cutover.
Manage authentication strategy evolution (ADFS → SAML/OIDC as applicable), certificate rollover, and claims mapping changes.
Validate functional & non‑functional requirements: performance benchmarks, crawl schedules, customizations, and permissions integrity.
Produce runbooks, rollback plans, testing scripts, and stakeholder communications.
