We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our Sensors business in Shannon, Ireland. This is a customer-centric role focused on ensuring timely equipment collection and shipment, while managing the financial implications of logistics performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting quarter-end revenue targets, handling client financials, and coordinating with internal teams to meet delivery deadlines.
Responsibilities
* Ensuring customer equipment collections are scheduled and executed on time supporting the end-to-end process for Built Not Shipped (BNS).
* Overseeing the outbound shipments to meet delivery commitments and avoid delays.
* Monitoring freight types and apply relevant rules and legislation to ensure compliance.
* Liaising with freight providers and query discrepancies or delays when needed.
* Tracking and managing logistics-related revenue impacts, especially around quarter-end targets.
* Handling financial interactions with clients, including cash-in-advance arrangements.
* Supporting finance and sales teams in aligning logistics performance with billing cycles.
* Escalating and resolving issues that may impact revenue recognition.
* Acting as a key point of contact for customers regarding delivery timelines and logistics queries.
* Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through clear communication and timely updates.
* Collaborating with internal departments including Sales, Finance, Operations, and Warehouse teams.
* Driving continuous improvement in logistics processes and customer experience.
* Maintaining strong understanding of freight logistics by type (air, sea, road).
* Staying current on international and domestic freight regulations and documentation requirements.
* Ensuring all shipments meet legal and company standards.
Qualifications
* Have Proven experience in logistics administration or customer operations.
* Have a strong understanding of freight types and shipping regulations.
* Have financial awareness, especially around revenue timing and customer payment terms.
* Have excellent communication and coordination skills.
* Be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Be proficient in logistics systems and Microsoft Office tools.
Work pattern
* Monday to Friday – 0800-1600hrs
* Overtime as and when required by the business
