Job Overview:
The role of an Organisational Development Specialist is pivotal in building a robust, values-driven workplace. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives that foster employee engagement and cultural growth.
* Key Responsibilities:
o Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead the recruitment process for indirect roles and provide valuable support for direct hiring. You will ensure every new joiner feels welcomed and set up for success through tailored onboarding experiences.
o Performance Management & Manager Support: Develop and implement performance management frameworks that drive constructive feedback and development-focused conversations between managers and employees. Your goal is to empower line managers to make informed decisions and provide practical support when needed.
o Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution: Provide guidance on grievance and disciplinary matters, helping teams navigate challenges with fairness and clarity. Resolve issues professionally and respectfully, ensuring a positive work environment.
o Benefits Administration & Vendor Coordination: Manage employee benefit programs in collaboration with external partners—ensuring offerings are competitive, well-communicated, and aligned with employee needs.
o Culture & Engagement Initiatives: Help bring company values to life through targeted engagement initiatives, wellness programs, and cultural workshops. Contribute to a positive, inclusive environment where people feel connected and valued.
o HR Metrics & Reporting: Deliver clear, actionable HR data—covering engagement, absenteeism, turnover, and more. Support informed decision-making by providing timely insights.
o Strategic Advisory & Benchmarking: Act as a trusted advisor to managers, offering insights on employee relations and organisational culture. Conduct benchmarking efforts to ensure the organisation stays aligned with best practices and evolving workforce expectations.
Requirements: A minimum of 3–5 years' experience in HR, preferably within a manufacturing or operational environment. A third-level degree in Human Resources, Business Studies, or a related discipline is essential. Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office are also required.
