The role will comprise the following responsibilities:
Managing sale and purchase mandates, MBO and MBI assignments (overseeing IM and financial databook preparation, preparing target lists);
Managing the preparation of valuation reports (reviewing target research and valuation models and overseeing the writing of the report);
Managing debt and equity raisings (reviewing databooks and writing information documents);
Managing the preparation of robust and flexible financial models (including 3-statement forecast models and sensitivity analysis);
Managing the preparation of business plans;
Liaising with clients, target, financial institutions, solicitors etc.
; and
Preparation of presentations and marketing initiatives.
The successful candidate will be and possess:
A minimum of 4 year's post qualification experience with prior experience in corporate finance;
Strong understanding of GAAP principles (IFRS and Irish GAAP);
Advanced skills in MS Office – Excel and Power Point; experience in use of databases such as S&P Cap IQ Pro, Mergermarket, Bloomberg etc. is advantageous;
Fluent English, other European languages are advantageous;
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to write clear, concise reports;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
