Meeting & Events Porter @ The Spencer Hotel
We are looking for a M&E Porter with a proactive attitude, good level of English, excellent customer service skills and willingness to work flexible hours five days over seven evenings and weekends. The right candidate will be expected to provide 100% quality service to guests at all times to achieve client satisfaction.
This operational role involves meeting clients, setting up meeting rooms, preparing refreshments and serving lunch and dinner in the meeting and banqueting rooms. Candidates will be required to lift heavy equipment and tables to and from meeting rooms.
Key Duties
* Set‑up meeting rooms – full training provided.
* Prepare and serve food and beverages in the banqueting rooms.
* Maintain meeting and storage rooms with the highest level of cleanliness.
* Assist in quick turnover of meeting spaces.
* Provide excellent spoken English and strong organisational skills.
Required Skills
* Experience with M&E set‑ups in a hotel or event setting.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
* Ability to lift heavy items safely.
* Competence in basic food and beverage service (desirable).
