CroCon Engineers Ltd. is seeking an experienced and highly organised Operations Manager to oversee the company's day-to-day operations, manage internal systems, and ensure smooth delivery of engineering projects. The ideal candidate will implement efficient processes, coordinate resources, and support ISO 9001 compliance — enabling the technical team to focus on engineering design and client service.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness & Process ManagementMaintain and develop the company's ISO 9001 Quality Management SystemManage internal templates, procedures, and document controlStandardise project start-up, delivery, and close-out workflowsSupport compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and data managementProject & Resource CoordinationTrack project progress and coordinate deliverables between teamsPlan workloads and assist with resource allocationMonitor key deadlines and report to the Managing Director on project statusSupport preparation of project files, QA checklists, and submission packagesFinancial & Administrative OversightAssist with invoicing, timesheets, and project cost trackingLiaise with the bookkeeper/accountant for monthly summariesReview project profitability and highlight variancesManage supplier accounts and office administrationHR, Training & Office ManagementSupport recruitment, onboarding, and performance trackingMaintain staff training records and CPD schedulesCoordinate health & safety documentation and site requirementsOversee office supplies, software licences, and general facilitiesContinuous ImprovementIdentify inefficiencies and propose process improvementsIntroduce digital tools for workflow, project tracking, or reportingPrepare regular updates and reports for management reviewSkills & ExperienceEssential:3+ years' experience in operations, administration, or project coordinationKnowledge of ISO 9001 systems or similar quality frameworksExcellent organisational and multitasking abilityStrong written and verbal communicationProficiency with Excel, MS Teams, and document management systemsDesirable:Experience in construction, engineering consultancy, or architectureFamiliarity with project tracking toolsUnderstanding of invoicing or cost-control processesPersonal AttributesReliable and proactive with a "get things done" attitudeComfortable managing competing prioritiesDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving skillsWorks well in a small, fast-paced environmentSalary & BenefitsCompetitive salary: depending on experienceCPD and professional development supportOpportunity to help shape and grow a dynamic engineering practiceJob Type: Full-timePay: From €50,000.00 per yearBenefits:On-site parkingWork Location: In person
