Manager – Accounting, Compliance & Reporting
EY’s Accounting, Compliance and Reporting (ACR) Services, part of our Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) offering, focus on helping large, multinational companies meet their financial reporting requirements across various countries. Our services support finance transformation initiatives, expansion into emerging markets, deployment of Shared Services Centres (SSCs), and the drive for efficiency and cost reduction.
Outsourcing statutory reporting and tax compliance to EY provides clients with integrated, global coverage across the entire 'record-to-report' process. Our centralized management links finance and tax competencies to support comprehensive compliance needs.
We are offering a Manager position, providing an excellent opportunity to join a growing team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment working with clients across multiple industries and countries.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the accounting functions of various clients within a cross-functional team.
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
* Maintain trial balances and sub-ledgers, perform periodic reconciliations.
* Support transactional client information processing, including bank payments, document filing, and uploads.
* Utilize accounting software (e.g., MS Navision, CaseWare, Sage) and MS Excel for record maintenance.
* Ensure accuracy of data input from client systems and document support processes.
* Assist with monthly and quarterly management reporting.
* Prepare statutory accounts, with experience in IFRS, FRS 101, FRS 102, FRS 102 1A, and FRS 105 advantageous.
* Review work of junior team members.
* Coach and train junior staff.
The Candidate
* Ability to work independently and in a team, meeting tight deadlines.
* Self-starter with multitasking skills and attention to detail.
* Responsible and committed to task completion.
* Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
* Qualified accountant; PQE is advantageous.
