The Social Media, Marketing and Events Executive is responsible for the effective administrative management of all social media channels, online content, and promotional campaigns for Clybaun Hotel. They will also be responsible for the promoting of event bookings such as communions and private dining and serving as the primary point of contact for these. This position requires proactive engagement with the public across all social media platforms, ensuring that all interactions align with the brands tone, standards, and content strategy. They will also oversee the continuous creation, review, and refinement of digital content to maintain and enhance brand image and awareness. In addition, the role supports hotel operations by communicating key guest informationsuch as long stays, repeat visitors, and special requeststo ensure that all relevant operational teams are fully informed and able to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities Develop Social Media and Marketing calendar, ensure all content is loaded in line with set out times, dates etc. Posting content across social media account (Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok). Engaging with customers on different channels, extranets ( Expedia) Being on top of the latest social media trends. Keep track of all social media data and reporting on it at relevant times. Events: be main point of contact for the taking and managing of event bookings. Support the overall sales and marketing effort for the hotel, by developing innovative and relevant content for the customer across all of the online touchpoints: campaigns, SM, CRM, services, online booking engines. Assist with E-Commerce related digital projects. Be responsible for the Hotels' own website content, ensuring content is relevant and up to date with the Hotel Sales strategy. Manage brand content on the online distribution platforms - Online Travel Agencies ( / etc) Assist with driving consumer CRM strategy and execution of campaign activities working closely with the hotel teams and Tifco management teams. Monitoring & inputting any relevant contact for CRM system (revinate), ensure all ezine content is relevant. In addition, ensure all automated campaigns are up to date and in line with upsell strategy. Assist Sales & events Manager and Management Team with the management of the Customer review websites (Tripadvisor / to ensure guest feedback is being monitored, responded to and shared with the Hotels and other 3rd parties. Interacting with customers and dealing with customers' enquiries. Work with General Manager/Sales and Events Manager to Plan and develop marketing and online campaigns. Reservations: assist in the reservations office as required Any other task as set out by management Working Systems: PMS, Revinate, AskSuite, Userguest, Avvio/SHR Requirements Degree educated in relevant field / relevant experience Proven track record of creating and managing successful social media campaigns. Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X/Twitter, YouTube). Understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, email marketing, and paid advertising. Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools. Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute events from concept to completion. Vendor management skills, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating rates, and evaluating proposals. Strong organisational abilities to manage timelines, budgets, logistics, and event operations. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Experience with influencer marketing or brand ambassador programs.
