Electrical Maintenance Professional
This position is for a multi-skilled engineer with a strong knowledge of electrical maintenance. The successful candidate will have the ability to diagnose faults on electrical control circuits, general electrical, mechanical and pneumatic equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure that production downtime is kept to an absolute minimum.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records.
* Lead projects with new machinery/equipment installation.
* Provide technical assistance to other departments when needed.
* Identify key maintenance issues and drive continuous improvements.
* Provide support and training to Apprentices.
Requirements:
Essential Skills:
* Time-served and qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering coupled with strong mechanical skills.
* 2 years post-apprenticeship industry experience.
Desirable Skills:
* Fabrication skills i.e. tig welding.
* Driving licence.
* 17th/18th Edition qualifications.
