Site Engineer Role
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our team in delivering high-quality projects across the country. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting out and checking works as required, ensuring all tasks are completed in line with project drawings, specifications, and building regulations.
You will perform quality checks on completed works to ensure they meet a high standard, liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site to plan daily tasks, supervise trades on site, and act as a point of contact for architects, clients, and other stakeholders.
Additionally, you will ensure Health and Safety standards are met and adhered to on site, support the Project Manager and Senior Engineer to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard, and maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors, and site personnel.
* A Degree in Construction Management & Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline is essential.
* The ideal candidate should have 3+ years' experience working with a Main Contractor in ROI.
* Strong knowledge of setting out instruments and ability to use them competently is also required.
