This role will be central to achieving this.The QA Officer with responsibility for Professional Development, and Support for the Development of Blended Learning will oversee the delivery of Dublin College's Professional Development programme and support the roll-out of blended delivery.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelopment of Dublin College's strategic approach to Professional Learning and Development, in consultation with the Manager for Quality Assurance and Professional Development, to include:Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to identify the upskilling and reskilling needs of staff in order to address the current and future critical skills needs of industry and Dublin College's strategic targets.Development of a range of professional learning and development opportunities and initiatives which support the ETB's strategic vision and meet the identified needs of FET staff, to include in-person and online workshops, self-paced professional development courses on Moodle and other innovative approaches to professional development learning and development.Management and oversight of the delivery of Dublin College's Professional Learning and Development Programme.Strategic overview of tracking systems and evaluation processes in order to provide assurances to the Dublin College leadership team regarding the success of the professional development programme, and development of recommendations for future strategic professional development in Dublin College.Management and coordination of the Dublin College accredited Erasmus Programme for strategic projects, to include:Development of applications to Léargas for future accredited strategic mobility projects.Management and oversight of current and future accredited strategic mobility projects for Dublin College.Management and oversight of the budget for accredited strategic mobility projectsEvaluation of the accredited strategic mobility projects, and reporting to Léargas on the outcomes of those projects.Supporting the development of Blended Learning programmes and courses in Dublin College, to include:Supporting the development of a cohesive approach to Moodle courses within Dublin College in collaboration with the Dublin College Learning Technologist.Supporting Dublin College staff members in the development of materials for blended learning courses.Supporting the validation of blended learning programmes on behalf of Dublin College.Establishing and maintaining effective internal and external communication/ linkages with professional networks, organisations and agencies.Undertake such other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.Salary Scale:€ 48, 411 p.a. - € 75,482 p.a.New appointees to any grade start at the minimum point of the scale.Incremental credit is normally granted on appointment, in respect of current experience in the Civil Service, Local Authorities, Health Service and other Public Service Bodies and Statutory Agencies.Annual leave : 35 days per annum ( pro-rata)Working Week:35 hours per week ( exclusive of one hour lunch)Equality, Diversity & InclusionIn accordance with ETB's commitment to equality of opportunity for all job applicants, you are asked to request any reasonable accommodation in sufficient time to ensure you can participate fully in the recruitment process.Please contact should you require any assistance.Dublin and Dun Laoghaire Education and Training Board is an equal opportunity employer.
