As a senior health and safety professional, you will lead a team of specialists to oversee the implementation of health and safety strategies across multiple sites.
The role involves:
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and legislation, including health and safety, fire safety, and food safety standards.
* Providing strategic direction for the implementation of company-wide health and safety standards.
* Chairing health and safety working groups to promote best practices and consistency across the business.
* Conducting thorough investigations into serious accidents and incidents, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to regulatory bodies.
Key qualifications include:
* 3+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably in retail, logistics, or food safety.
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent degree-level qualification in health and safety or environmental health.
* Proven track record in managing and coaching teams of health and safety professionals.
* Strong understanding of Irish health and safety legislation and regulations.
