Facilities Operations Lead
The Facilities Operations Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliable operation and upkeep of facilities, equipment, and property. This position requires technical expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to drive efficiency, safety, and quality in operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive facilities strategy to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
* Manage preventive and corrective maintenance through computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), including equipment setup, scheduling, and data analysis.
* Lead and develop the facilities team, ensuring skills and training remain aligned with industry standards.
* Monitor and improve facilities quality through audits, inspections, and follow-ups.
* Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
* Support and deliver site projects, outage planning, and interdepartmental initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with regulations, fostering a strong health and safety culture.
* Maintain facilities and production areas to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and functionality.
* Provide after-hours support for emergencies.
Requirements:
* 5+ years in a management role, 10+ years in manufacturing/production.
* Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus).
* Experience with building management systems (BMS), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), and process control systems.
* Skilled in mechanical/electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
* Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
