Senior Retail Manager - Fresh Food Operations We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Senior Retail Manager to lead the fresh food department in a busy retail grocery site.
The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for the performance of the fresh food area, ensuring high standards of product quality, customer service, operational efficiency, and compliance.
Main Responsibilities: Day-to-day management of the fresh food department Supporting team members to deliver new offerings and optimise sales margins Achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) across multiple areas including sales growth, waste reduction & efficient stock control Implementation & maintenance enhanced HACCP protocols throughout facilities About You: You must have minimum 3 years' experience in a senior retail management role with strong leadership skills; ideally from within a similar or related field Expert knowledge regarding relevant health safety regulations compliance law Effective communication delegation coaching skill Knowledge existing applicable legislation around inventory supply chain risk controls Target driven KPI focused results oriented behaviour Thrive fast-paced environment availability mandated requirements incorporating progressive demands Work effectively tight deadlines timely completion milestone goals track subject staff placement Full respect towards safe practices implementation proper use personal protective equipment(PPE)
