This is a high-impact leadership role for a creative visionary and pragmatic operator who will define and scale our powerful, mission-driven brand onto the global stage. We are open to hiring candidates remotely from Ireland or the UK. Candidates can work remotely or in a hybrid arrangement from any of our office locations in Germany, or remotely from Spain, with a hybrid option available from our Madrid office.
Global Brand Strategy & Architecture
* Elevate the Narrative: Lead the evolution of our global brand positioning and narrative, ensuring our unique value proposition is clear, compelling, and consistent across all international markets.
* Creative Direction: Own and define the next generation of our visual and verbal identity guidelines. Serve as the ultimate creative director, ensuring all output is high-quality, on-brand, and globally consistent while allowing for regional nuance.
* Pragmatic Scaling: Develop a brand governance model that supports scale and efficiency without sacrificing creative quality or consistency.
Content Strategy & Production Leadership
* Own the Content Strategy & Execution: Define and execute a global content strategy that establishes SoSafe as the leading voice.
* Thought Leadership: Partner with internal subject matter experts and our product marketing team to translate complex insights into actionable, engaging content that drives organic traffic, lead generation, and sales enablement.
* Content to Funnel: Ensure content is strategically mapped to the customer journey (TOFU, MOFU, BOFU), driving measurable brand lift and pipeline velocity.
International Communications & Public Voice
* Integrated Campaign Design: Develop and implement integrated communications plans that support business goals across Europe.
* Executive Advocacy: Oversee PR, media relations, and high-stakes communications. Advise and prepare executives for public appearances, keynotes, and media engagements, ensuring alignment with the core SoSafe mission.
* Flagship Ownership: Own and elevate the Human Firewall Conference into a globally recognized, branded thought leadership event, driving increasing industry recognition year over year.
Team Leadership & Business Impact
* Team Empowerment: Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing, multidisciplinary team spanning Brand, Design, Social Media, and Communications. Instill a culture of creative excellence, autonomy, and accountability.
* Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with People & Culture, GTM, and Product Marketing to embed the brand story into product launches, talent attraction, sales enablement, and customer experience.
* Data-Driven Impact: Define and report on clear brand performance metrics (brand awareness, branded search, share of voice) and connect them directly to business outcomes (lead quality, customer trust, and talent pipeline).

What makes you a great fit
* 10+ years of experience in brand strategy, creative direction, and communications, with proven success in leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience leading large-scale content production and managing freelancers, agencies, and creators.
* Strategic Storyteller: Ability to translate complex B2B concepts (e.g., behavioral science, human risk) into clear, emotionally resonant narratives and campaigns.
* Tech & B2B SaaS Scale-Up Experience: Proven track record in a B2B SaaS context, managing brand strategy across multiple international regions.
* Pragmatic & Creative: Comfortable with ambiguity, quick iteration, and a push for creative excellence and high production quality.
* Excellent Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to both the big picture and details for brand consistency.
* Data Literacy: Use data to optimize brand campaigns and link creative spend to business growth.
* Collaborative and empathetic leader who builds trusted cross-functional relationships.
