This is a product engineering role, not a ticket-taking UI role.
Technology Environment
CI/CD pipelines as part of a production SaaS engineering environment
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain robust frontend applications in Angular and TypeScript.
Deliver interfaces that are reliable, maintainable, and fit for real production use.
Handle complex application state, asynchronous behaviour, permissions, validation, edge cases, and failure modes carefully.
Turn complex workflows into usable product.
Work closely with backend engineers and product to shape solutions, not just implement pre‑defined screens.
Design and build interfaces for operational and financially sensitive workflows where correctness, traceability, and usability all matter.
Simplify complexity for users without hiding important system behaviour or reducing trust in the product.
Technical Skills
Strong commercial experience building modern frontend applications in TypeScript.
Proven experience with Angular in production environments.
Solid understanding of component design, application structure, state management, and scalable SPA architecture.
Good judgement in balancing simplicity vs appropriate abstraction.
Product Mindset
Able to translate complex or ambiguous requirements into clear, usable product behaviour.
Comfortable navigating trade-offs across UX, correctness, delivery speed, and technical quality.
Focused on product outcomes beyond implementation.
Production & Quality
Experience building robust production systems, handling edge cases, failures, and operational complexity.
Writes maintainable, testable code with strong awareness of regression risk.
Familiar with automated testing and modern delivery practices.
Strong cross‑functional collaborator (engineering, product, QA).
Takes ownership through to successful outcomes, beyond code completion.
Pragmatic, calm, and effective in ambiguous environments.
Elevates team standards through judgement, communication, and example.
Nice to Have
Experience with Playwright or similar E2E testing tools.
Background in SaaS products with complex workflows.
Exposure to financial, operational, or compliance‑driven domains.
Experience with AI‑assisted workflows or intelligent product features.
