Project Manager Large-Scale Solar Projects A leading renewable energy developer is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its team delivering large-scale solar PV projects across Dublin.
This is a key client-side role, responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of utility-scale solar developments from pre-construction through to energisation.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale solar or renewable energy infrastructure projects and will play a central role in coordinating stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and grid operators to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities Manage the full project lifecycle of utility-scale solar PV projects from development through to construction and commissioning Act as the client-side representative, coordinating EPC contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management Manage grid connection processes and liaise with relevant utilities and regulatory bodies Monitor construction progress to ensure delivery on time, within scope, and budget Ensure compliance with environmental, planning, and health & safety requirements Review technical designs, drawings, and contractor submissions Lead project reporting for internal leadership and external stakeholders Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively Support procurement and contract negotiation where required Requirements Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline Extensive experience (5+ years minimum) managing large-scale solar PV or renewable energy projects Proven client-side or developer-side project management experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of utility-scale solar construction and grid connection processes Experience working with EPC contractors and multidisciplinary teams Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Strong commercial awareness and contract management experience Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Full driving licence Whats on Offer Competitive salary (€85,000 €95,000 DOE) Excellent benefits package including bonus, pension, healthcare, and additional annual leave Opportunity to work on major renewable energy projects across Ireland and the UK Strong career progression within a rapidly growing renewable energy sector To Apply If you are an experienced Project Manager with extensive experience delivering large-scale solar PV projects and are seeking a client-side role in the renewable energy sector, please contact Amy Maguire for a confidential discussion or send your CV.
