Job Summary
The Digital Art Director’s currency is inventiveness, hard work and enthusiasm. What we most need from the Digi Art Director is a large volume of ideas, quickly, that are connected to culture and surprise us with the new and the different. They eager, curious, positive and willing to learn from everyone around them.
Job Responsibilities
1. Develop a range of ideas in a short amount of time and refine and self-edit work along the way
2. Knows how to package up their ideas in ways that are clear, concise and buyable
3. Can think in platforms and think beyond traditional advertising solutions
4. Is a student of creative trends and best practices in advertising, culture, media and social.
5. Brings other interests and knowledge to the job (filmmakers, influencers, designers, etc…)
6. Pull visual references and create comps quickly to translate ideas into compelling client presentations
7. Establish art direction, style and tone for brand campaigns across all channels
8. Begins to contribute to all facets of productions
9. Work with all disciplines to deliver projects of creative excellence on time
10. Can take feedback and incorporate it
11. Begins to understand the needs of clients and clients’ business
12. Is willing to help out with whatever is asked of them, with a good attitude
13. Is an accountable partner and collaborator across D5 Dublin, Song Ireland, D5 Global and Song global.
Basic Qualifications
14. Portfolio or samples of work demonstrating smart, brand-building ideas and executions
Preferred Qualifications
15. Strong skills in Google suite, GenAI tools, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator
16. Collaborative, passionate and self-motivated
17. Familiar with the major social platforms and the creative output requirements for each
18. Presentation and public speaking skills
19. Strong organizational skills to work efficiently and effectively in both personal time management and ability to extend such practices across a team
20. Ability to multitask, manage simultaneous projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
