Job Title
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Physiotherapist to join our Paediatric Neurosciences team.
About the Role
The primary objective of this role is to provide high-quality physiotherapeutic services to infants and children referred to the Neurosciences Physiotherapy team. This will involve conducting thorough assessments and developing effective treatment plans in accordance with current best practice.
The post holder will be expected to work closely with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes, focusing on areas such as Metabolics, Neurosurgery, Neurology, Neurorehabilitation, Neurodisability, Neonatology and General Paediatrics.
A significant portion of the caseload will be allocated to a priority area, allowing for specialized expertise and skills development. Additionally, a wider Neurosciences caseload will be assigned to maintain proficiency and facilitate cross-cover within the team.
Rotating priority caseloads may be considered to enhance skillset and expertise.
The role will primarily involve working in an inpatient setting, although some outpatient duties will also be required.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive physiotherapeutic assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
* Attend regular meetings, including MDT clinics, ward rounds, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
